Schedule Interviews and Develop Questions

     I will interview Dr. Jacob Ruscoe.  He is a director, actor, playwright and assistant principle at Ashton Elementary School.  He is also the artistic director and former of Rise Above Performing Arts.  These are my questions I will ask him in the interview.

1. What started your interest in theatre/directing?

2. Did you go to school for the arts and what are your educational degrees?

3. What was the first show you directed and what was special about it?

4. At what moment did you realize you wanted to do theatre for a living?

5. What is Rise Above Performing Arts?

6. What made you want to work with children instead of adults?
7. What is your method or strategy of directing?
8. What is the best or your favorite part of your job?
9.  What is the most frustrating part of your job?
10. How do you balance both jobs at well and your own family and personal life?
11. Do you have any regretful decisions or choices you've made in the arts industry?
12. What would you say is your biggest accomplishment?
13. What is your advice for anyone who wants to pursue theatre or directing?
14. What are your plans for the future?

     These questions give insight of the life of a director and someone who works in the arts.  Hopefully he will provide advice for young actors and directors.  It may peak interests of readers and have them interested in theatre as well.
